  11. Hallo! A few scenes from a non-railfan trip last week to the Croatian islands at Zagreb, Perkovic and Split, of course going both ways behind GM diesel on the Ogulin - Perkovic - Split line. On return from Croatia I caught a NOHAB GM special from Germany to Kosovo at Traiskirchen Aspangbahn station near Vienna, one of the last stations with old infrastructure in Austria, featuring MY 1125 in "Santa Fé" design. Usually wearing the "STRABAG" (a road- and since more recently rail construction company) logo, the writing has been especially altered to "Santa Fé" for this trip. The video link: A few of the pics with GM locos: 2062-109 with B 1204 "Adria" Budapest - Split departing Perkovic on the morning of 15/8, we rode inside the MÁV-sleeping coach behind the loco ZS through coaches from Beograd Panorama of Split station with waiting P 5508, bus- and ferry terminal, after climbing the campanile, 20/8 P 5508 to Perkovic back on ground level, once more 2062-056, one of my standard HZ locos (for example it pulled us from Cakovec to Lendava in June) An hour later, 2062-029 has finished shunting the auto car for B 1822 to Zagreb and Jadran Express to Prague. We were accomodated inside the only sleeping coach, CD, at the rear of the long train After arrival next morning at Zagreb with one hour delay (only due to a "cleverly" planned crossing with freight at Zrmanja - resulting in a horn concert by our driver ) I caught 2044-010 departing towards Kotoriba Arrived at home, taken a short breath, then by Schnellbahn and bike to Traiskirchen Aspangbahn. The "lonesome cowboy" appears at the horizon First, an overtaking passenger train had to be waited for Pushing back for a photo run into the station And finally contuing towards Kosovo, stopping at Sopron that evening Vise slke, i od otoka, cu jos doci...
  12. Hvala ljepo! Mozete mene odgovoriti na hrvatskom, samo nemogu tako dobro da pisem...
  13. Hi, Video 1: Beograd - Bioce, July 4 - 7 Link: Start of a great week long trip to Crna Gora and Dalmatia. Arriving at Belgrade by D 341 from Vienna, watching express trains at Belgrade (sometimes I cranked up the speed a little, otherwise you could fall asleep ), including one of the last grey 461s and coaches from at least 10 different countries. For the spectacular trip Beograd - Podgorica please see one of my first YouTube videos: "The Beograd - Bar Line", Link: Bioce is located between Podgorica and Mala Rijeka bridge at the mountainside of Mala Rijeka valley, on the other side of which the line can be seen again. Night trains and daytime express trains coming up and down the line, including one freight and a class 461 double. Video 2: Lake Skadar - Sutomore - Zagreb, July 6 - 8 Link: Morning at Lake Skadar, which is being traversed by a dam, but even a better spot proved to be the picturesque fishing village of Vranjina - if it wasn't for the road it would be perfect! In the afternoon we moved on to the extremely tourist town of Sutomore - the scenery definitely is great, but it reminded me why I prefer a lonely fisherman's hut on Kornat for seaside holiday. We took D 434 overnight to Belgrade and went on the much less than spectacular ride on D 414 to Zagreb, in Serbia it is additionally extremely slow going. At Zagreb we had heavy thunderstrom shower and sunset moods before we went on to our beloved GMs around Split by D 1823. Video 3: GM Diesel around Split 1, July 8 - 10 Link: Morning at Primorski Dolac with sadly a little video mishap (don't worry, the scene will be delivered in HD! ), later we moved on to the Split side. In the afternoon we caught the new twice weekly "Adria" to Budapest at a classic spot in Kastel Stari. Also new is the earlier departure of D 1822 from Split, almost at sunset. Early next morning we went uphill to visit another favourite, Sadine, near Split airport. Video 4: GM Diesel around Split 2, July 9 Link: More trains at Sadine and on the other side of the mountain at Preslo, including three uphill freights, two of which with 2062-038 in green livery as leading loco. Video 5: GM Diesel around Split 3, July 9-10 Link: Evening at Kastel Sucurac near Split including first night train to Zagreb, spectacular meeting with D 824 on the way to Split, night train parade at Perkovic the next morning. Video 6: Lika Line ICN Cabride Link: Thanks to a very nice driver and user of this site , an invited cabride on some of the most scenic sections of the Lika railroad and further into Zagreb where the weather wasn't as nice as on the coast. And a few preview photos: IC 344 "Avala" Beograd - Budapest with through coaches to Moscow and Kiev next to a Hungarian built shunter class 641 at Belgrade station. Last year they still used a more modern Czech class 704 diesel... July 4 One photo, 4 years in the making: During the trip I could take a wideangle shot of the panorama from train D 433 at the spectacular station of Lutovo, Montenegro, the freight train dates from August 2005. July 4 Morning in the mountains at Bioce, local 6101, definitely one of the cleanest rakes of the day, Bijelo Polje - Podgorica - Bar is winding down the mountain, while on the other side you can spot the line again with a night train on it. Inbetween gurgling in the gorge lies Mala Rijeka river and the famous giant bridge of same name. July 5 Again Lutovo, but now standing on the ground and shooting D 433 Beograd - Bar in fitting mountain weather conditions. July 5 Nighttrain D 437 from Subotica passing the very picturesque fishing village Vranjina with access through the marshes to Lake Skadar. July 6 Nighttrain D 436 to Subotica including CD through coach passing Sutomore viaduct just above the beach with a touristic goodbye scene at one of the many private accomodations, July 6 Traffic jams can't just be found outside Belgrade station, the train arriving is D 315 from Villach and Ljubljana, attached to the rear is a ZRS coach from Banja Luka. July 7 Heavy thunderstorm shower at Zagreb with a time exposure of the little creek coming down the platform roof. July 7 Strange lighting at Primorski Dolac, the sun was covered by clouds but it just came through in time for nighttrain D 825 - by the way, that's the scene where the video will be delivered later... July 8 The new D 1205 "Adria" consisting of MÁV coaches fitting the GM nicely and a Gbs (so "mixed freight" ) at a classic spot in Kastel Stari. July 8 D 825 rolling down the hill near Sadine. July 9 One of three uphill freights of the day, this one at Preslo had 27 cars - enjoy the video! July 9 ICN speeding past Preslo and its lines supposed to lead the blind - not that there is much else at the station... The evening local to Perkovic at the home signal of Kastel Sucurac just as it is falling back. July 9 Nighttrain D 1823 accelerating on the grade out of Perkovic. July 10
  14. Vrlo zanimljivo, hvala!
